Soulja Boy's scheduled ride on American Airlines took flight without him when the rapper was kicked off the aircraft Friday (Aug. 9). According to TMZ, Soulja was removed for not complying with a pre-flight request that all passengers be seated.
A flight attended warned that he'd be kicked off for refusing to take a seat, which is exactly what happened next. He was escorted off the flight by two officers, and later blamed the incident on having a "bad night."
"Me and the flight staff didn't see eye to eye," he told TMZ. "In hindsight, I'm extremely sorry for all inconvenience to the passengers and employees of the airline."
Soulja's not the only rapper to make headlines over a clash with American Airlines. Wale was booted from a plane last month for allegedly having his phone on. The DMV native vowed to never fly with the airline again and called AA staff "crazy."
