Miguel has been charged with DUI stemming from a bust on an a Southern California freeway last month. The singer, 27, was slapped with two counts of driving under the influence, TMZ reports.

Although he has yet to address the arrest, police say the Los Angeles native was cooperative at the time. He was stopped on Aug. 15 for dark tints on his 2013 BMW X6, but cops suspected that he may have been drinking.

The Grammy winner's blood alcohol level was .10, slightly above California's legal limit to drive. He was arrested and released on $5,000 bail hours later. 

His case will go before a judge next week.
