Lupe Fiasco Disses Childish Gambino

Chicago rapper hits back after Gambino radio interview.

Childish Gambino's comments on what he thought was a "sneak diss" from Lupe Fiasco turned into a real diss from the Chicago rapper Thursday (Oct. 24).

On Thursday, Gambino (aka Donald Glover) told Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club that his July tweet threatening to smack Fiasco "like the b---- that he is" was reactionary, but accompanied it with a copy of an old Chief Keef tweet to Fiasco. "He came at me first," the rapper/actor said. "He sneaked dissed me. Honestly."

"Here’s the thing I’m a Lupe fan, to an extent," Gambino continued. "I liked his Food & Liquor. I liked all that stuff. But he kind of sneak-dissed me. He was like, 'I don’t work with Black people. I work with n-words'…I got what he was sayin’. I understood, but at the same time, it was a sneak diss. So I was like, ‘Okay, Ima just come at you with what Chief Keef said to you like a month ago."

Rift aside, Gambino called Fiasco "smart" and said the war of words would never get physical. "He's smart too, man, he doesn't wanna fight."

Fiasco responded on Twitter. "To say a n---a sneak diss is kinda like a sneak diss … cut it out @Donald Glover," he wrote. "I don't sneak diss … I diss @DonaldGlover …n---- … I mean Afro-American…"

It doesn't seem like he's all that upset though, as Fiasco ended with the tweet, "Oh and I watch more anime than you ;) @DonaldGlover."
