Chris Brown Countersues Clubgoer

Singer claims alleged victim was "heavily intoxicated."

Chris Brown is fighting his way back to peace of mind before this next album release. According to TMZ, the singer has countersued Deanna Gines, the 24-year-old woman who alleged that he shoved her in a Cali club, causing a tear to a ligament in her right knee.

In the court documents Brown, who's long contested that he never put hands on her, further implies that not only did he not push her, but also that she was so drunk, she fell down by herself.

Gines was "heavily intoxicated and falling over herself in a drunken stupor throughout the night," it reads in the suit, adding that witnesses saw her acting belligerent towards club staff, screaming, "F**k y'all," and throwing her clothing at security.

Brown is also currently contesting an alleged assault in D.C. for which he was arrested. He's since committed to rehab and anger management.

The release of his forthcoming X album is to be determined. It's been pushed back several times this year with the latest scheduled date of Dec. 3.
