Nicki Minaj Reveals New Album Title

New video confirms the name of her junior LP, The Pink Print.

Nicki Minaj may be back to her natural hair color, but she's not done with the color pink. Using her new "Lookin A** N***a" video as confirmation, Nicki revealed that her next album will be titled "The Pink Print."

"Nicki Minaj releases a new track off the upcoming Young Money album Rise of an Empire & Upcoming Album Solo The Pink Print," reads the caption on World Star Hip Hop, where the video was first posted. Nicki tweeted a link to it as a stamp of approval.

Her previous albums are Pink Friday, and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Apparently, the sneak attack is the Queens-bred YMCMB rapper's new marketing M.O. She announced, for example, that she'll be dropping an album this year via a low-key track released online — a freestyle to PTAF's "Boss A** B****," which was posted to her SoundCloud and then later removed for copyright reasons.

"I'm really excited," Nicki told MTV about the album back in November. "The people that I have been working with now have been people that I haven't worked with before, so it's like they're bringing a new sound to the album that I've never experimented with."

Not everyone is feeling her experiments, though. The artwork that she posted to accompany her "Lookin A** N***a" video — an iconic image of Malcolm X peaking out of his window — was not well received. "I'm just disgusted with Nicki Minaj now you gonna have young cats out here thinking brother Malcolm is a psychopath killer," tweeted @ZuluPeabody.

"Lookin A** N***a" was produced by Detail, whose credits also include Lil Wayne, Birdman and Akon.

An on-sale date for The Pink Print has yet to be revealed.
