Chaka Khan Denies Beyoncé Diss

Music legend tweets an apology to Bey over "Flawless" controversy.

An interview of Chaka Khan rolling her eyes at a Beyoncé question doesn't equal beef between the two ladies, according to the "I'm Every Woman" singer herself.

Khan killed reports that she intentionally dissed Bey (and allegedly called her that other b-word) by tweeting out an apology to the Houston native Saturday (March 1), "@Beyonce Sorry you had to be the target of a slow news day. You know I have nothing but LOVE for you! Keep handling your business!!"

The clip of Chaka Khan that started all the drama was taken from the 7th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon last week, when she was asked about looking "flawless like the Beyoncé song." The music legend gets visibly annoyed, she then quickly switches up her demeanor and answers questions about maintaining "discipline."

Since there's no proof that her body language was a jab, the BeyHive will have to take Khan at her word. Although she later deleted the direct tweet to Bey, the "Through the Fire" singer then tweeted out an Edgar Allen Poe quote as a reminder: "Believe only half of what you see and nothing that you hear."
