Drake Announces Upcoming Album Title

Toronto rapper's fourth studio LP will be called Views From the 6.

Drake already has a title for his upcoming fourth studio album, due out next year. According to Billboard, the release will be titled Views From the 6. The "6" reference is rumored to be an ode to Toronto's two most common area codes, 416 and 647.

The album announcement follows a list of items on Drizzy's agenda in the coming months, starting with the ESPY Awards, which he will host tomorrow (July 16). On July 29, two artists from his OVO Sound imprint, Majid Jordan and PARTYNEXTDOOR, will drop their respective projects Place Like This and PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO.

In early August, Drake heads back to Toronto for the OVO Fest to be headlined by OutKast. After he wraps up the annual two-day festival, he'll set out on the Lil Wayne vs. Drake tour beginning Aug. 8 in New York.

The show will feature the two YMCMB top dogs battling it out on stage all in the name of fun. "Since, thank God, we've been so successful, [we'll just be] going back and forth with our hits and getting the crowd to go crazy, then just finally hit the stage together," Wayne said in an interview.

Drake and Wayne's tour will hit 31 stops through late September.
