T.I. Confirms Lil Kim, Iggy Azalea Collaboration in the Works

Grand Hustle boss says the Queen Bee called him up for a possible team up.

Lil Kim is putting the Nicki Minaj diss tracks like "Identity Theft" and "Flawless (Remix)" on the back burner to team up with Nicki's rumored frenemy Iggy Azalea.

Grand Hustle boss/Iggy mentor T.I. confirmed the possible collaboration.

"I got a call from Kim," T.I. said to Hot 97's Ebro. "She said it's time to find that record to get [an Iggy collaboration] done."

The alliance may finally prompt a comeback from Nicki, who has ignored Kim's recent shots.

"Well, in the game of chess, you must think five moves ahead, protect your pieces and cover the board," T.I. continued, not revealing whether or not the collaboration will happen.

Kim isn't the only femcee on Iggy's radar. Addressing Remy Ma's request, T.I. said Iggy would be "eager" to work with the recently home rapper because she is a "fan of the sport."

"I believe she's gonna be eager to show support," Tip said. "She is with the nonsense."

It's been a minute since hip hop has had an all-female collaboration as memorable as Lil Kim's 1997 "Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix)," which features herself, Angie Martinez, Left Eye, Da Brat and Missy Elliot. Perhaps T.I., who is known to be a problem solver, will orchestrate a 2014 version.
