"2 On" singer says she "cannot wait to finally share" her first LP this fall.
After delivering one of the hottest songs of the summer with "2 On," featuring ScHoolboy Q, Tinashe is ready to show the world every facet of who she is with her debut album, Aquarius.
"Aquarius is my official album introduction to the world and represents a new season of music and art,” Tinashe told BET.com. "I cannot wait to finally share with the world what I have been working so hard on for the past few years. This is just the beginning."
So far, the R&B newbie has spent four weeks (and counting) on top of Billboard's Rhythmic Airplay charts with her debut single. Her sugary yet powerful voice and precise moves are quickly making her one of the genre's princesses, keeping it sexy and smooth in the footsteps of Aaliyah, Janet Jackson and Ciara.
Later this month, she plans to release her second single, "Pretend," featuring her labelmate A$AP Rocky and produced by Detail. DJ Mustard, Boi-1da and Stargate are also on the production roster.
