Lil Boosie: African-American Is the Worst Race

Louisiana rapper discusses race relations, drugs and more. Explains why "the white man" is just "doing his job."

Of all the races, African-American is arguably the “worst” according to Lil Boosie. During an interview for NiteCap with Peter Bailey, Boosie discussed race relations and how “the white man” is being wrongfully blamed for conditions caused by African-Americans.

“I just feel like African-American is the worst race in the world because first of all we kill each other,” explained Boosie. “People always talking all this racist stuff but the white man ain’t waiting in your bushes with a chopper [gun], the white man ain’t tryna take rims off your car … we doing this to each other. So how can you say ‘F the white man?’ He ain’t doing nothing but –– when you get in trouble –– doing his job. He ain’t doing nothing wrong.”

Bailey asked if Boosie thinks that a system has been put in place for African-American’s to “destroy” each other. “I really do feel like they brought drugs in the country and gave it to the big dog’s in the Black neighborhood 'cause they gon' put it in they culture and we gon’ smoke up all the drugs,” he replied. “You don’t see Italians selling keys or dime rocks on they block so they people can get strung out ... but we got a picture of Scarface, John Gotti, we got all these pictures. But, they know we gon’ kill our race.”

Boosie, a.k.a Torrence Hatch, has lived and likely witnessed what he discussed with Bailey. He was arrested and acquitted for the murder of a 35-year-old African-American man named Terry Boyd and convicted for smuggling drugs into prison before he was released earlier this year.
