Iggy Azalea Tells Her Side of the 'Divorce' Story

"Fancy" rapper can't wait for a day in court with Hefe Wine.

The ex claiming he and Iggy Azalea are common law married might want to get his story in order because the Aussie recording artist is more than ready to have her day in court. On Twitter this Friday (Oct. 17) Azalea gave an update on her legal battle with “husbandHefe Wine.

“My lawyer agreed to be served ‘divorce’ papers but they want to hire someone to serve me in person, probably so it can be another TMZ story,” she tweeted. “I also was told yesterday via his lawyer if i do not settle out of court they will go to the press and say I gave him an STD, whats next? ... Unfortunately to file common law ‘divorce’ all you need is three of your friends to sign a statement swearing the persons story is true. ... Actually proving it in court is another story im [sic] just waiting to get infront [sic] of a judge so it can be disproven & obtain a restraining order.”

In the next round of tweets, Azalea exposed Wine for abusing his wife, Annette Buitrago. Wine was married with three children when he met Azalea, who was a minor at the time.

“The thing that i find awfully sad about this whole story is that the mother of this mans 3 year old child is in court right now...saying he stalked, headbutted and tried to strangle her in January after their 7 year relationship ended,” tweeted the “Fancy” rhymer. “Why is her truth being overlooked in favor of sensationalism? It makes me so sad & my heart goes out to Annette Buitrago."

Wine’s divorce defense is the latest chapter in a bizarre story that started with a sex tape. He claims responsibility for helping to launch Azalea’s career, and may have access to unauthorized recordings of the rap star.

Azalea has alleged before that Wine is just out for money.
