Ginuwine and Timbaland may be working together on a new album called Same Ol' G, the R&B crooner teased on Instagram. We're not sure if the collaboration is official or just an item on Ginuwine's wish list, but if true the record is sure to be one of the most anticipated of 2015.
The duo had a series of hits in the 1990s, many of which Ginuwine listed on his Instagram post. In 2011, Ginuwine lashed out at Timbo for not being a part of his new music. The super producer later told BET.com in an exlusive interview that he would absolutely be up for a collabo with the "Pony" singer.
"I'd work with Ginuwine because I love Ginuwine. I’d work for him, not for the money, not to put a record out. Just for old times' sake. Let’s do it for music’s sake. Let’s do it for what we were. Let’s do it for our friendship...our brotherhood," Tim said. But even though he's still willing to let bygones be bygones, Timbaland has some conditions. "I don’t want nobody in the room when I work with him this time. I don’t want no record people. I don’t want to say it’s coming out. I want to just do it, just because Ginuwine loves music."
Hopefully the time for that reunion has come. We'll be on the lookout for an official announcement or confirmation from Timb.
