Migos Blasted Over $1,000 Donation to Atlanta High School
Migos got blasted for donating $1,000 to Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, after they proudly posted a photo of the cardboard check on Instagram Tuesday (Jan. 27).
Based on reactions to the photo, the “Versace” rappers should be able to give a little more. “My momma get more money in child support than that check my n**a,” wrote on person, while someone else called the donation “rent money.”
Another comment broke the numbers down further. “Are you n**s serious? That’s $333.33 each?" read the response. "Y’all supposed to have bands and racks.”
Close to 3,000 people weighed in, including an angry former Washington student. “We woulda laughed at your a** for that lil a** money. Then ya’ll retarded a** wrote a big a** lottery check! F**k outta heRe dumba**es!!!”
The rap trio responded to the controversy (and jokes) about their contribution via Twitter, this morning. “Give $1 Dollar To A Homeless Is A Blessing So Givin Back Anything To Help A Cause Is A Blessing.”
