Snoop Dogg to Keynote SXSW Music Conference
Snoop Dogg is bringing his expertise to SXSW with a major spot in the lineup. The rap vet is set to deliver the keynote address at the 2015 SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas, next week.
A “Keynote Conversation With Snoop Dogg” goes down Friday, March 20, at 11:00 a.m. at the Austin Convention Center. The event is free for Music and Platinum registrants and registered showcasing artists. The music portion of this year's conference and festival runs Mach 17-22.
While the nature of Uncle Snoop’s talk isn’t known just yet, the Long Beach, Calif., native can cover lots of ground. The father of three has film, production and television credits to his name in addition to selling million of records.
He also continues to build his digital portfolio. Aside from being the most active celebrity on Instagram, the 43-year-old is an investor in Reddit and recently celebrated 200 episodes of his GGN series.
Music-wise, Snoop isn't slowing the hustle. He just dropped “Peaches N Cream” off BUSH, his upcoming collaborative LP with Pharrell Williams, due out May 12.
