Rawyals, made up of Ariel Nicholson, Bel Cabrera and Asia Shabazz, is no stranger to the music scene. The ladies, hailing from New York, Washington State and Los Angeles, have been under the mentorship of rapper 50 Cent, who speaks highly of their potential: "There is a clear lane in music being left wide open," he said. "These ladies are prepared to fill it. Call it crazy, sexy, cool or destiny, but they are the new wave."

Each of the ladies was handpicked by music mogul Kedar Massenburg, who is known for introducing some of today's biggest acts like D'Angelo, India.Arie and Erykah Badu.

The group's music video for their single "King Me" is set to be released soon. The full song dropped last night (April 16) on Soundcloud. The new trio also has a gig on May 12, as they have been invited to perform on the BET Music Matters Stage in New York City.

Rawyals is currently hard at work on their EP, In the Raw, which is set to feature A-list artists like Wale, Remy Ma and Troy Ave. The project is set to drop digitally on June 30, 2015.
