The round of he said, she said continues.

Safaree Samuels responded to Nicki Minaj accusing him of cheating on Twitter, by pointing the finger right back at his former girlfriend. 

“It’s a two-way street,” Samuels said to TMZ about Minaj’s claim that he cheated. “I’m not perfect, nobody’s perfect,” he added.

The aspiring rapper was a constant in Minaj’s life for over a decade, but these days, the exes are far less cordial. Nonetheless, Samuels has been focusing on his music career (he passed out copies of his mixtape at a club in L.A. over the weekend) and said that he’s the “happier than ever."

He also denied that his new record is a diss to Minaj. “It’s just me explaining where I’m coming from. I ain’t tryna beat nobody down or nothing like that.

Based on the series of tweets she unleashed at Samuels, Minaj clearly didn’t take it that way. “It’s one song,” Samuels said. “I had a whole album written about me.”
