As New Orleans marks the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina this week, here comes a Crescent City connection that will make the Big Easy proud.
August Alsina has tapped Lil Wayne for his newest offering, "Why I Do It," a mid-tempo rider produced by Go Grizzly.
Driven by a soft, horn-filled instrumental, "Why I Do It" perfectly showcases the New Orleans native's buttery vocals, and Weezy's verse is probably another one for the books given its quotable nature — just listen and you'll see what we mean.
