Report: T.I.'s New Restaurant Was the Scene of a Shootout

A group of customers got into it, leaving one man injured and arrested.

T.I.'s new restaurant Scales 925 opened its doors for the first time just a few months ago and it's already wrapped up in a scandal. TMZ reports that the soul food eatery was the scene of a shootout involving a group of customers, leaving one man injured and arrested for drug possession and another on the run.

The shooting occurred on Sunday night, and, according to police, it all started with five or six men arguing inside the restaurant on an upper deck patio.

The restaurant crew threw the men out, but the fight only escalated once they got to the parking lot with one man in a red shirt whipping out a handgun and shooting the victim in the leg. According to police, the victim fled the scene in a friend's Porsche.

Police caught up with the injured victim, though, after responding to a 911 call about the incident. When they pulled over the Porsche, they found the victim bleeding, but they also noticed something that they didn't expect: a duffel bag with 240 grams of marijuana and $6,000 in cash.

The victim was then booked for reckless conduct and possession of marijuana. According to the victim, he had no idea who the shooter was. Police are currently still searching for the shooter.

The entire incident was caught on tape.
