Jay Z Is Always Looking Out for Blue Ivy
Blue Ivy Carter is No. 1 to her parents, so it makes sense that she be taken care of when they're performing and traveling. Jay Z’s concert and hotel rider reveals the strict stipulations for his baby girl.
Papa Hov’s room must be completely childproofed for his 3-year-old daughter, and based on the rider request, Baby Blue sounds like a typical toddler. That means sharp edges, corners and outlets have to be covered to prevent BIC from getting injured and anything that could potentially get broken (lamps, statues, etc.) must be secured. She also drinks whole organic milk.
Her father meanwhile enjoys the more adult beverages. Jay prefers Ace of Spades champagne and wants his room at a cool 71 degrees. Furthermore, staff members aren’t allowed to vacuum near the rapper’s room, asking for concert tickets is likely to get them embarrassed and $80 scented candles are a must.
TMZ compared and contrasted Jay’s rider requests to Kanye West, which has no specific requests for North West, but Yeezy's list is certainly interesting. It includes, $3,200 worth of alcohol, Kashi cereal, minty floss, black towels, cylindrical vases, and a Genelecs 1031A two-way speaker that was discontinued in 2005.
Nobody ever said Mr. West wasn’t picky.
