UPDATE: The mystery surrounding Gucci Mane's release date continues. He was reportedly getting out in March, but a new post on his label’s Instagram account says otherwise.

Gucci previously reached a plead deal that would free him by the end of 2016. While we don’t know the exact date Gucci's release is expected to happen soon, reports The Source

PREVIOUS: After two years in custody, Gucci Mane could be seeing his freedom in just two months. The 35-year-old rapper, born Radric Davis, will be released from prison in March, Complex reports.

The site points to an Instagram post from Guwop’s label stating the release month without an official date. However, The Federal Bureau of Prisons marks Gucci's release date as March 6 2017.

Over the weekend, Gucci’s social media accounts were mysteriously deleted, a possible clue that his release date is on the horizon. Sean Paine, the sound engineer helping Gucci drop so much music from jail, says the accounts were deleted for a fresh start. “He wants to wait until he gets out to build anticipation and resurface everything under the new Gucci brand," Paine told the blog Pigeons & Planes

Gucci was sentenced to two years for gun possession. He was originally expected to be released at the end of the year.
