Are Drake and J. Cole Teasing Us With Possible Tour?

Where's Kendrick, though?

Hot 97’s Ebro is fueling the fire for rap fan hopefuls, sharing a rumor he’s heard that Drake and J. Cole could possibly be joining forces to tour together this summer.

A Drake and J. Cole tour? Could 2016 be so kind already?

After jokingly reminding us that “Drake’s a square,” Ebro hinted during his morning radio show earlier this week that an announcement confirming the rumors could be on its way. Given Ebro’s ties to the music industry as an employee of Hot 97 and Apple Music alike, his sources could be more reputable than your friend’s-neighbor’s-cousin’s Twitter account.

With Drake and J. Cole both batting a thousand in the past year — each releasing platinum albums and playing sold out shows all year long — a summer tour would inevitably mirror the success each artist found in 2015 and would result in being the hottest (and consequently hardest) tickets to score.

This tour — fingers crossed it’s happening — would be the first time the two rap elites have joined forces on the road since Drizzy recruited Cole on his Club Paradise tour in 2012.

With all of us eagerly keeping it locked, as of Wednesday [February 3] it’s unfortunately still the stuff of fantasy, leaving us with no choice but to wait and see what’s up with Ebro dropping such a subtle hint that could instantly change everyone’s summer plans.
