[Listen] The Tupac, MC Hammer Collabo You Heard About Is Finally Here

The unlikely duo recorded "Too Tight" nearly 20 years ago.

Tupac's collaboration with MC Hammer is part of the late rap icon's folklore, and now we finally have the results of their unlikely parternship: a head-boppin', distinctly late-nineties sounding track called "Too Tight."
If you're wondering how Pac and Hammer wound up in the same studio, the story starts with the deal Pac made with Death Row while he was in prison: post my bail, and I'll sign to the label. Part of the agreement was that Pac would help make music for other Death Row artists, a roster which, in 1997 when Pac was released, included Hammer.
While video footage of their time in the studio has been floating around for years, for some reason it took nearly two decades for the finished track to be released. "Too Tight" was meant to be the title track on a Hammer album which was never released, but ended up being just another piece of hip hop trivia.
