Watch Vince Staples' Dreams Come True in New Commercial for Sprite

He has wanted to team up with his favorite soda from the jump.

For those following Long Beach, California-based rapper Vince Staples, it isn’t hard to figure out that he's ride or die for his favorite soda.

Consistently shouting out Sprite on Twitter the past year or so, Staples is the ultimate fanboy, saying things like, “If I ever get in a rap beef I'm just gonna send Sprite to their house as a peace offering" and "too much Sprite in the world for this negativity."

While it is a little bit of a ridiculous endorsement in those contexts, Staples is showing just how serious he is about his favorite non-alcoholic bubbly in a new series of commercials for the company. You could even go as far as to say that the commercial for Sprite is a dream come true for him — he's that stoked.

Taking it even further, the rapper is using the platform to speak about his mission to set a positive example for children.

“The best thing I can do is connect with people through my music, because that can change their life even if they don’t wanna make music,” he says in the advertisement.

Fueled by Sprite, the rapper talks about the legacy he wants to leave, living larger than life and remaining true to oneself.

“We’re all people, man,” he concludes one of the commercials with. “We tend to forget that.”

Watch the Sprite enthusiast share some deep thoughts in his latest collaborations with the company below.
