Birdman’s morning started off on a heated note today (April 22).

While the origin of his beef with the hosts of The Breakfast Club is still being speculated, something triggered a strong reaction from the rapper and Cash Money Records co-founder, resulting in him storming out of his scheduled interview.

While some controversy has been surrounding Birdman and the Cash Money Records crew recently (namely lawsuits from Lil Wayne and other artists claiming the label needs to pay up), the co-founder has remained relatively quiet on the subject.

Before the interview officially kicked off, Birdman set the tone, saying that he demands “respeck.” Things escalated pretty quickly and he ended up leaving the building.

Naturally, the internet had a field day, such as Snoop Dogg.
