Suspects admit to unspeakable crime.
Three 13-year-old boys in California last week admitted to raping a 13-year-old classmate on a playground located not too far from their school.
The incident took place Monday evening on a playground near Nicolet Middle School in Banning, Calif., reports KTLA 5.
The three boys allegedly grabbed the girl, forced her into the playground, and took turns raping her, authorities said.
The victim reported the attack on Tuesday and the boys were questioned the next day. All of the suspects admitted to the crime. They were taken into police custody on Thursday and are currently being held in juvenile custody.
No word yet on whether the attackers will be tried as adults.
