The first lady turns 49 today.
Want to wish First Lady Michelle Obama happy birthday? The White House launched her new Twitter account, @FLOTUS, with a request to retweet the message and send her well wishes. The first lady turns 49 today and already has more than 16,000 followers.
Unlike President Obama, who's grown more gray as a hallmark of his job, the first lady has simply grown more fabulous as she enters the last year before the big 5-0.
The White House has not yet announced where she will celebrate. Last year, she and President Obama went to BLT Steak. In 2010, he threw her a surprise party at Restaurant Nora.
