Congratulations, Staff Sgt. Bria Nelson!

Nelson was chosen to dance with President Obama at the Commander-in-Chief's Ball.

Congratulations are in order for Staff Sgt. Bria Nelson, who was chosen as one of four enlisted troops who will dance with the Obamas and Bidens at the Commander in Chief's Ball on Jan. 21.

Nelson will dance with President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will partner with Marine Gunnery Sgt. Timothy Easterling, who is an expert in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense.

Army Staff Sgt. Keesha Dentino will dance with Vice President Joe Biden and Jill Biden's partner is Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Patrick Figueroa.

The four are all stationed in the Washington area and served overseas in Iraq or Afghanistan. "A board of senior enlisted leaders picked them from more than 50 candidates nominated by military leaders, based on criteria including combat experience and volunteer efforts," writes the Associated Press.
