Super Freak: Man Disguised as Rick James Robs Indiana Bank
We can't make this stuff up. A man disguised himself as the late legendary musician Rick James and robbed an Indiana bank. According to USA Today, he wasn't alone. His accomplice was dressed as Youngblood Priest from the classic '70s film Super Fly.
The robbery took place at the Indiana Members Credit Union in Indianapolis last weekend, according to a statement from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Cops reported that the duo entered the premesis at around noon and immediately demanded money.
As they were armed, workers at the bank gave them an "undisclosed" amount of cash before they fled. They were described as both wearing dark sunglasses, with the Rick James impersonator measuring "5-feet-8-inches to 5-feet-10-inches" in height.
The FBI is currently investigating the incident.
