You Can Finally Like President Obama on Facebook

POTUS welcomes us into his own backyard.

If you're not getting enough of President Obama from @POTUS on Twitter, you can now head to Facebook to see the latest updates from our commander-in-chief.
"Hello, Facebook! I finally got my very own page," he wrote in his first post. "I hope you’ll think of this as a place where we can have real conversations about the most important issues facing our country  a place where you can hear directly from me, and share your own thoughts and stories. (You can expect some just-for-fun stuff, too.)"
POTUS launched his page on Monday afternoon with an inside look at his backyard, where he says he takes a walk almost every day before dinner. He used the video as a chance to talk about preserving the future of our environment.
"A lot of what I do is just think about how I want to make sure that the beauty of this particular national park, but also national parks all across the country and our planet, are going to be there for Malia, Sasha, their kids and their grandkids for generations to come," Obama said in the video.
The president will meet with other world leaders in Paris to come to an agreement about how to address climate change.

"We’ve got to preserve this beautiful planet of ours for our kids and grandkids. And that means taking serious steps to address climate change once and for all," he said in the Facebook post.
