Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, often regarded as the smartest guy on the internet, made a rare misstep on Friday when he Tweeted that there are no species on Earth that suffer through painful sex. The NOVA host seemed confident in his assertion:

But fans were quick to flood his mentions with examples that prove his statement to be wrong:

Tyson has not yet admitted he was wrong, though — to be fair — he may not recognize the phenomenon since it happens so rarely. On another note, who knew so many species find no pleasure in knockin' those proverbial boots?
