[Numbers Don’t Lie] The Race of Men Who Have Killed More American Police This Year Than Others

Stereotype of a Black male misunderstood.

New statistics are revealing the grim reality that the number of police who have been shot and kill in the year 2016 have increased.

As reported, seventeen police officers have already been shot in killed this year, when compared to this time last year, that number was only ten.

On top of that, as pointed out by Shaun King of the New York Daily News, seventy-one percent of police fatalities this year occurred with white men holding the trigger.

The mainstream media grossly leaves this fact out of its headlines, with the common stigma being that those murdering police are those involved with the Black Lives Matter movement, or simply are any shade other than white.

If a 59% rise in the number of police officers shot and killed occurred by people of color, there’s no question the conversation would hold a larger presence in media coverage across the board.
