Watch: Pulse Victim Reunited With Officer Who Saved His Life

And the emotional first words that were spoken.

Angel Colon is one of the surviving victims from the deadly Orlando attack. The 26-year-old was shot three times in the leg and was then trampled by club goers trying to escape. As he lay on the ground, the shooter then followed up by shooting Colon two more times, once in the hand and once in the hip.

Unfortunately, Colon was not able to get up and leave. He stayed on the ground for hours until police were able to penetrate the club. An officer by the name of Omar Delgado found Colon and dragged him to safety.

Now that Colon has undergone surgery, he has been able to see quite a few visitors, including the officer that saved his life.

On Thursday, Officer Delgado went to the hospital to see the young man who he saved. Upon entering the room, he took a look at a very smiley Colon and said, “My name is Officer Omar Delgado, I'm one of the ones that helped you get out of harm's way. I need a big hug from you, man.”

The two then locked bodies in a beautiful embrace. Colon, clearly very happy to be alive, held onto the man that seemed even happier to see him alive. The reunion was clearly very emotional for both of them. When asked how he felt meeting the man who saved him, Colon responded, “I was so happy, I've been wanting to see the man that took me out of that horrible place.”

Check out the emotional reunion below! You might want to get the tissues ready.
