Is the mom facing charges?

Keisha Shannon, a 28-year-old Cincinnati mother has been accused of biting school bus driver Deamber Martin's ear during a violent fight that took place after Shannon's young daughter missed was left at the bus stop before school.

Police have since released surveillance footage of the two women interacting before exchanging blows that left Martin with lacerations on her face and ear, and Shannon facing misdemeanor assault charges.

The drama started on Thursday morning when Shannon was dropping off her daughter. Just as the little girl was about to board the bus, Shannon called her back to the car for one last hug. In that time, Martin drove off. As a response, Shannon cut in front of the bus and parked her car.

According to a surveillance video, Shannon shouted, "That was just so ignorant. Did you see me coming on this bus though, right? You see me getting my baby on this right?" She continued, "You see me giving her a hug though, right? And if I punch you in the f***ing face, you're going to be sorry as hell."

Martin, who maintains that she had warned Shannon several times about being late for the bus, said she feared for her life during the attack and told WCPO, "She tried to smother me. She tried to bite my ear off. She was scratching my face. She spit on me twice and she tried to puncture of my right eye as well."

Two adults boarded the bust and tried to intervene as the children watched, terrified, but it was not enough to stop the violence from continuing on for several minutes.

Shannon was arrested and held without bond facing assault charges.
