A Racist? - Is Amy Winehouse racist? She says she's not, but a video shot by her husband, Black Fielder-Civil, sometime before his arrest late last year, ended up being published in a London tabloid. The clip shows her singing a series of racial slurs to the tune of the children's song, "Head, Shoulders Knees and Toes." The singer apologized in front of her London home after the tape was released.

His Side - Now it’s Darius’ turn to tell his side of the story. According to him, he didn’t try to run over Karrine Steffans with his car. He says she “jumped on the trunk of my car and then the roof of my car. She started beating my vehicle and windows." McCrary has since filed a restraining order against her.

Bareknuckle-Fight - Spike Lee duked it out with Dirty Harry over the accuracy of the latter’s WWII films ('Letters from Iwo Jima' and 'Flags of our Fathers'). Selling Like Crazy - Never mind the leaks and bootlegged copies floating around Lil Wayne's new CD is selling like crazy. Nielsen SoundScan reports that his new album, "Tha Carter III" has sold 423,000 copies in its first day of release. At this rate, Lil Wayne is in position to sell nearly 900,000 copies of the CD in its first week. If the numbers hold, it would be the best selling album debut of the year.

Rodney TV - Guess who's coming to a TV set near you? Rodney King. And no, VH-1 won't be showing his beat-down by the LAPD. He'll be among those featured in the next edition of the reality series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." The cable network will begin airing the show in the fall. Other "celebrities" on the show will include a lesser-known member of Guns 'N Roses and a former "American Idol" contestant.

Defense Rests - The self-proclaimed "Pied Piper" has gone on record saying he wouldn't testify in his own defense in the child porn case, and his defense team has rested its case. Meanwhile, the judge ruled that the jury will be allowed to review a key tape once they begin deliberating. Prosecutors say the video shows singer R. Kelly having sex with an underage girl.

'I'm Not Broke.' - Ex-world heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield says his 109-room Georgia home is no longer up for foreclosure, rebutting rumors last week that he faces losing the mansion. Holyfield also denies that he owes child-support payments to the mother of one of his 11 children, saying she filed the suit just to embarrass him.

Fashion for Your Nerves - A blue denim jumpsuit may not necessarily be the best fashion statement for a brotha, but how about one that once belonged to James Brown? The jumpsuit is one of more than 320 items to be auctioned next month at Christie's. Also up for sale is a red "Sex" jumpsuit. Each is expected to fetch between $5,000 and $7,000. A list of the items will be posted on Christie's Web site next week.

600 Homers - Ken Griffey Jr. became the sixth person in baseball history to hammer 600 homers. He joins Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays and Sammy Sosa as the only players to reach the 600-homer mark.

Murder's Trial - Jury selection in the murder trial of C-Murder was supposed to begin this week, but it didn't. A judge in Louisiana delayed the start of the trial until October because of ongoing wrangling over the backgrounds of certain witnesses. C-Murder is charged with second-degree murder in the January 2002 death of a teenage fan at a nightclub near New Orleans.

Splitsville - The divorce of Thomas Weeks III and Juanita Bynum is closer to being a done deal. Weeks, who presented a 15-page settlement offer, is not seeking spousal support from his wife, but he is requesting that she help him cover attorneys’ fees.

A prosecutor in Virginia says it would cost too much to get Vick and the other two prisoners from where they are serving their sentences and bring them to Virginia for their trials – then pay to get them back to their respective prisons.

He told them that their future success in life could enable them to overcome their past mistakes. Locked Up - America jails Black men like nobody's business, according to Justice Department figures. More than one in 10 Black men between the ages of 30 and 34 are locked up, and Blacks in the United States are 12 times more likely to be sent to jail for drug-related crimes than their White counterparts.

Busted - Rapper Coolio was arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license. He was pulled over while driving his gray Hummer in Los Angeles earlier this week. Officers say they stopped him because the Hummer's registration was expired. But a check also turned up that his license was suspended and that he had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

He Gets the House - The house may be gone, but a judge has ordered 50 Cent to keep the property where his $2.4 million house once sat. He was also ordered to put any insurance money he might get from a settlement on the house into a trust account. The ruling comes after the lawyer for ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins made the request. The two are in a bitter fight over the house.

Murder Plot - Did Wendy Williams’ hubby hire a hitman to kill his wife’s HOT 97 rival Miss Jones? An explosive federal lawsuit filed Wednesday says he did.
