Hospitalized - Vegas police are trying to figure out what Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker was doing hours before he was found beaten up on a street just off the strip. Authorities say he had a large amount of cash and some jewelry taken from him. He remains hospitalized with a concussion and a battered face.

Confrontation - New Jersey State Police are explaining why a plainclothes trooper pulled his gun on rapper Jim Jones and his entourage. Authorities say the trooper was trying to gain control of the situation after Jones' bodyguard assaulted another trooper backstage. This all went down at the rapper's performance at the "Summer Jam" concert at Giants Stadium earlier this month. There is a dispute over whether the trooper in question identified himself.

The Utah couple who created the racially-charged toy called "The Sock Obama" posted an apology after strong public backlash. The couple said they never meant to anger anyone.

The crowd was p'oed because his performance was delayed nearly two hours. Officials say the delay was caused by putting together Kanye's set.

Wedding Rush - Same-sex marriages became legal in California at exactly 5:01 p.m. Monday. California is the second U.S. state after Massachusetts to legalize same-sex marriages. More than 600 same-sex couples have already made appointments to get marriage licences in San Francisco alone over the next two weeks.

Dang Jeezy - Young Jeezy was busted in Atlanta Wednesday for allegedly driving under the influence, without proof of insurance or license plate, reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was released on bond and is to appear in court on July 17.
