Going Too Far - “Nobody can describe a reason for it beyond political gamesmanship in the Senate. I have to say that there are times where the dysfunction in the Senate just goes too far. This is an example of it,” Obama said during a news conference with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, commenting on the delay in a confirmation vote for Loretta Lynch to succeed Attorney General Eric Holder. “This is embarrassing, a process like this.” (Photo: Mark Wilson/Getty Images)

Danger, Danger - Capitol Hill lawmakers were stunned by the Florida postman who literally flew his gyrocopter under the radar and onto the west lawn at the U.S. Capitol. “I think that there’s absolutely a gap, and it’s a very dangerous gap, with regard to our airspace,” said Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings, ranking Democrat on the House Government Oversight Committee. “I don’t want people to get a message that they can just land anywhere. Suppose there was a bomb or an explosive device on that air vehicle? That could have been a major catastrophe.” Some lawmakers and political observers have suggested that the contraption should have been shot down. (Photo: AP Photo/Manuel Balce Ceneta)

Maybe There's Something to That Gyrocopter Thing - “Okay, let me see if i understand this,” said Comedy Central host Larry Wilmore. “A guy crashes his gyrocopter and people pay attention to his issue. And Black people, all this time we’ve been marching? Is there no brother that has a gyrocopter out there? Seriously.” (Photo: Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images for Comedy Central)

An Odd Prediction - Fox Business News host Charles Payne is predicting that Obama will start calling for reparations for slavery in 2016. He was responding to news that Chicago will offer monetary compensation to people who can prove they were victims of a torture reign against suspects under police commander Jon Burge. " I think that there’s going to be an official apology from the White House to slavery in America and then a major push to get cash, and I’m talking lots of cash," Payne said. “Many, including those closest to President Obama, will push him to make this happen. I actually think it would be a major mistake.” (Photo: FOX Business)

The People's Choice? - Asked whether Obama will endorse his former secretary of state Hillary Clinton's bid for the White House, spokesman Josh Earnest said, "no." "There are other people who are friends of the president who may at some point decide to get into the race," said Earnest, including, perhaps, Vice President Joe Biden, who has not yet announced his 2016 plans. In addition, Earnest suggested, the voters will ultimately choose the nominee. "This will be the responsibility of Democratic voters to decide who should be the Democratic nominee for president. I think that Democratic nominee can be confident that they'll enjoy the support of President Obama in their campaign." (Photo: AP Photo/Charlie Neibergall)

Equal Pay - At a town hall meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, Obama urged women to demand equal pay. “I’ve got two daughters. I expect them to be treated the same as someone with sons in terms of jobs,” he said. “You’ve got to remind your daughters that things are not perfectly fair, but people who work hard can make it fair.” (Photo: AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin)
