Pity the person at Macy's who placed a full-page ad in Monday's Miami Herald paper congratulating the Miami Heat for winning the NBA championship.
The ad showed photos of Heat championship T-shirts and hats from Macy's that read "Heat 2011 NBA Finals Champions" and the Heat's logo on a hat with the words "NBA Champions."
To make matters worse, the ad ran under a story about the Heat's loss.
A correction was issued and a Macy's spokeswoman called the ad an unfortunate error.

In case you missed it, the Dallas Mavericks beat the Heat 105-95 on Sunday in Miami.
