NBA All-Star World Tour Finalizes Dates and Sites

The tour will feature six games over two weeks in on four continents.

The dates for the global barnstorming tour featuring star NBA players are set.

 

Now organizers just need to finalize the rosters for the six-game, two-week, four-continent tour that is being dubbed the "World All-Star Classic." The first game is scheduled for Sunday in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at the Miguel Agrelot Coliseum.

 

According to ESPN.com, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant will headline the roster of 18 of the best NBA players. The remaining 14 players are expected to be announced Wednesday, with LeBron James, Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pierce and Carlos Boozer among the list of all-star players.

 

The World All-Star Classic then moves on to London, where two games will take place Nov. 1 and 3 at the 02 Arena. After that, the tour moves on to Macau on Nov. 6 before wrapping up with two games Nov. 8 and 9 in Melbourne, Australia.

 

Players will receive salaries in the range of six figures to $1 million.
