Holly Holm Is Beating Ronda Rousey on Social Media, Too

Her friendship with Floyd Mayweather is all over Instagram.

Holly Holm and Floyd Mayweather's mutual admiration continues. After the two were spotted hanging out courtside at the Clippers/Warriors game on last week, the UFC bantamweight champ tells Rolling Stone that Money Mayweather is the “greatest of all time.”

Following her win against the previously undefeated Ronda Rousey, Holm has been steadily keeping the punches coming on social media, soaking up her win and wasting no opportunity to shade Rousey in the process.

When Fight Hype asked Holm what was it like to hang out courtside with the undefeated boxer, she said, “It was awesome. Just to be able to meet one of the greatest, I mean, the greatest of all time, you know? He's the only one that's ever been able to do it undefeated."

The flattery did not go unnoticed by Mayweather. Soon after, he posted a link to the Rolling Stone article on his Instagram with the caption, “I want to thank @_hollyholm for the kind words. Congrats on your success. Please follow @_hollyholm and read the article I just posted on my Twitter and Facebook.”

Of course, all of this is an indirect jab at Ronda Rousey who has consistently thrown shade at Mayweather. Earlier this year, Ronda beat out Floyd in the ESPY’s Best Fighter category and said, “I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once.” When Ronda lost her undefeated streak to Holm this past week, Mayweather decided to take the high road and said that winning and losing come with the territory.

Guess he saved his punch for social media.
