They clearly weren't in sync this time.

The Daily Mail Online is reporting that Brazil's Giovanna Pedroso split up with her synchronized diving partner Ingrid Oliveira after the latter had a marathon night of sex in what was supposed to be their shared room in Rio de Janeiro's Olympic village. Roommate violation.

The news outlet claims that Oliveira slept with Brazilian diver Pedro Goncalves the night before Pedroso and Oliveira were scheduled to compete at the Olympic Games.

"After the Olympics, I will focus on my individual," Pedroso told Brazilian newspaper O Globo. "It's good because I will not need to depend on anyone. Then I will be able to improve and evolve more."

This reportedly isn't the first time that Oliveira did something controversial heading into a big diving meet. 

Before her individual dive at the Pan American Games in Toronto last year, Oliveira posted a shot of herself in a bikini to her Instagram account.

She defended herself at the time by deleting each hurtful comment on her Instagram post.
