Preacher's Kid
Tamar was born to a preacher and amateur opera singer, so faith and music are embedded into the singer/reality star's DNA. Born in Servern, MD, she has been singing since childhood; where her mother Evelyn Braxton was adamant about Tamar and her four older sisters rehearsing and honing their craft. The benefits? Her two decade career which seems to be nearing its pinnacle.
