This Louisiana native and Juilliard alum has, thus far, had a prolific film career. The same year he starred opposite Ossie Davis in Spike Lee’s She Hate Me, the actor also earned an Independent Spirit nomination for his role in Brother to Brother. He's also had high profile roles in films like 8 Mile, Million Dollar Baby, Crossover and Notorious. The actor has kept an ongoing presence on the stage as well, performing Off-Broadway as Tupac Shakur in Up Against The Wind and on Broadway in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Drowning Crow.
