Blind Fury represents the power of hip hop to overcome adversity. When the South Carolina native was born, doctors told his mother that he might not live to see his first birthday. These are the types of challenges he has faced since day one. But instead of getting down on himself, Fury channeled his problems into music. Singing since he was a toddler, he began writing rhymes in his head by the age of nine and he hasn't stopped since. Friends convinced him to enter 106 & Park's Freestyle Fridays competition, and he proceeded to win week after week in dramatic style.
