Singer

Neo-soul songstress Corinne Bailey Rae was born in Leeds, England, studied classical violin and played electric guitar—but Rae found her true calling while working at a jazz club. Soon after in 2006, Rae released her self-titled debut album, which reached number four on the Billboard 200 and earned three Grammy nominations. In 2011, Rae released the EP The Love, an album covering music originally recorded by Prince, Bob Marley and Paul McCartney & Wings.
