Carl Thomas

Originally from Aurora, Illinois, Sean "Puffy" Combs discovered Carl Thomas in New York City singing at a club.  He signed to Bad Boy Entertainment in 1997 and released his huge R&B success "I Wish" from his album Emotional a couple of years later.  In 2001, the newcomer received a Best Male R&B Artist Nomination at the BET Awards.  As a result of his collaboration with Chaka Khan, Yolanda Adams, and Gerald Levert for the song "Everyday (Family Reunion.)" Thomas received a 2006 Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo Or Group With Vocals.
