Charlie Murphy

Standup comedian and older brother to Eddie, Charlie Murphy gained recognition on Dave Chappelle’s sketch comedy series, Chappelle’s Show. Murphy was the genius behind the hilarious and wildly popular "Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories" sketches about Rick James and Prince. He got his start appearing in small roles with his brother including the film Harlem Nights, but had his first major roll in the satirical hip hop film CB4 with Chris Rock. In 2010, Charlie Murphy: I Will Not Apologize, a standup special, aired on Comedy Central. He has lent his signature raspy voice to commercial brands like Budweiser and on Aaron McGruder’s animated series The Boondocks, which airs on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.
