Chief Keef

Rapper After the success of several singles and gritty rap videos posted to his YouTube account, Keith “Chief Keef” Cozart quickly climbed the ranks in Chicago’s hip hop scene. His raw street anthem “I Don’t Like” was not only a local hit, but caught the attention of fellow Chi-town MC Kanye West, who spun a G.O.O.D. Music remix that set the entire nation ablaze. Now the 17-year-old kid, who was once confined to house arrest, is one of hip hop’s most talked about newbies with co-signs from rap megastars and a lucrative deal with Interscope Records. Reported to be in the studio with everyone from Young Jeezy to superstar producer Lex Luger, his debut album is scheduled to drop in late November.
