Childish Gambino

Childish Gambino is the rapper alias of actor/comedian Donald Glover.  Best known for his role of Troy Barnes on the NBC sitcom Community, Glover found an audience as a rapper in 2008 with the indie release of Sick Boi.  He snatched his oddball rap moniker by running it through an online Wu-Tang Clan name generator.  His rhymes are chock full of pop culture references and his themes speak to the insecurities of youth.  After releasing free music independently, Childish Gambino dropped Camp, his first commercial album in November of 2011 via Glassnote Records.
