Daytona, a.k.a. Hood Savior, is a rapper based in Philadelphia who earned a name for himself through rap battles and mixtape releases, including his Hood Savior series. The video for his single, “Payback,” which samples James Brown’s “The Payback,” premiered on 106 & Park in November 2011. He’s recorded with notable hometown artists such as Beanie Sigel, Peedi Crakk and Gilly Da Kid.
