Starting his career off in 2009, James Edward Harden Jr. was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he was selected third overall.  Soon after, he was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year with the team in 2012. During his short stint with the Thunder, Harden made a lasting impression with the young core players who helped the team reach the 2012 NBA Finals; they ultimately lost to the Miami Heat. In 2012, he joined the Houston Rockets, where he is shooting guard.  During his first season with the team in 2013, he became a first-time All-Star.
